Days of Heaven - Bloomer Shorts

An easy breezy adjustable wide legged short! With a paper-bag ruffle at the waist, they feature two ties at each side to cinch to the desired fit. Rendered in an a purple and green yard dyed plaid, these shorts are fun and effortless. One pocket on the side seam holds your lucky clover, or whatever!

These shorts have been a go-to of mine for a summer spent farming. Easy and cool, plus the plaid hides dirt nicely! Named for the Terrence Malick film, Days of Heaven, a favorite film depiction of agrarian life.

These are designed without elastic at the waist. Pull them on and tie a single knot at each side, adjusting to desired fit, and evening out the ties, then tie a bow and distribute the gathers along the waist. If you would like elastic to hold them up for you as you tie them, just add a note and I am happy to add that for you!

100% Cotton, made to order to your measurements. Standard Length from the top of the ruffle of the waistband is 21 inches, and is shown in the photos on me, who is 5'6".
